It would be nice to have them all, but please....$99? As to the arguement you would spend $32-40 at a bar anyways every sunday if you didn't have the ticket. Too me that is more than I ever spent watching a game.
All I know is I hated Comcast becase they had bad customer service, but I could deal with DTV becasue they had the sunday ticket. But moves like this have me hoping they lose it the next time around and open it up for some competition. Just seems they raise the prices every year, blackout games entirely or parts of it, and keep doing crap like this.

I have just purchased my 62" inch Mitsubishi DLP to get ready for the fall. Part of the installation will include an HD OTA antenna and a DirecTV HD receiver. The entire reason for my going with DirecTV is based upon ST because there is where I get all of the Cowboys games. There is no other option for me unless I am willing to lose 50% or more of the games I want to see. DirecTV knows this and they know I want to see the games in HD with my new toy. Why wouldn't they want to make a few more dollars on the sports niche they paid so handsomely for? If I worked for DirecTV, I wouldn't hesitate with HD programming coming into its own.
For us customers, the real question with DirecTV's strategy is how many HD games I actually get. If I get an opportunity for 100+ games in HD I would not otherwise get, is it worth $1 a game? I will not be interested in watching all of those games so if I watch one extra game a week in HD...say 16 games, I'm paying roughly $6 a week for the service. It's still probably worth it to me. If I watch no games other than the Cowboys, the HD service might not be worth it to me but I'm too much of a football fan to not pay the money and see what I get.
