Bledsoe may hold on to the ball too long but that is when he is looking to make a play down field, if your running a quick pattern (Slants, quick outs and screens) Bledsoe can still do the job. But again what I have seen in recent years is how quick the defense are at recognizing screens and reacting back towards the runner
