Better yet, and not to sound self-righteous but I've always wondered this, why can't the player being compensated for the number simply insist the other guy pay the money to his favorite charity or something? Does it strike anyone else as slightly offensive that these multi-millionaires act like spoiled little kids and hand over large amounts of money to each other over a number when there is a great deal of need and poverty in the very communities they play in?
This is a business for these players. Yes its kid play money to these guys but a # has value. To give that up amongst these guys is a small stakes game. No harm no foul.
