The Boys have a larger area to draw fan support from than most teams.
They have also done a much better job.
In this case the Steelers are hemmed in geographly by the Browns and Bengals to their direct west.
The Canadian football league and Bills to their north.
The Eagles, Ravens and Skins to the east.
There is only college football to the south and - excuses me here - W VA. hicks down there.
So in this case they are stuck.
The $ they get from the split - a part of it would fo into the Salary CAP for the next contract anyway.

Yeah we are paying for their FA, if Pitt can't support a team then move them but to take from others so Pitt can have a team BS. Rooneys have sat on their butts for years getting their share of the TV. I don't see DC and the skins having this problem and clearly is a smaller market than Pitts.
