Dad was born on April 17, 1926
Dad was like most of those from the greatest generation...worked hard, never complained
Dad also served in world war II I guess he got shot down twice..later served on Truman's ship when the president went anywhere...never could get one war story out of Dad what I know I got through my mother but she was reluctant to reveal anything my dad did not reveal himself.
Just a real all around great guy.
Dad has been diagnosed with colon cancer and he is going in today or tomorrow to find out how far along it is.
Just thought you might like to meet my Hero.
