This guy is where I think I heard about the never ending growth. He was like 22 years old when he died and was 8'11'', which is a full 8'' taller than the guy above. Just crazy. |
His name was Robert Wadlow and apparently he used to eat occasionally at my grandpa's drugstore/diner in St. Louis, MO. There is a picture of my Aunt and Uncle who were very little children, sitting inside his shoes. My Mom used to tell me that he was so big he had to sit on a table because stools were too small. He had already passed away by the time my Mom was born so she was only relaying stories of him told her by her Dad. His shoes were on display there for many years after his death.
