I like our chances today. We have the better lineup, the better starting pitcher, and the better back end of the bullpen. The problematic part is that the damned O's, much like the damned A's, have a serious amount of luck or momentum going their way. I still have no clue how the A's are doing it, other then basically having about 4 AAAA/bench level players having career seasons simultaneously. The A's feel like the 2010 Giants as far as offense goes.
[View Full Quote]I honestly like the way we match up with every team in the playoffs, including Oakland, if we get past this one game play in. I think we have the second best pitcher in the AL right now, maybe third depending on how you count Sabathia. I think we have the second best total line up. I think we probably have the best late inning RPs in the playoffs right now.

Pitching has been the key to the A's success, it's always about pitching and the Rangers NEVER have enough. It seems the A's get good pitching just right off the street. They seem to have good pitching every year. It's hitting they've struggled with until this year. Their scouts certainly have an eye for pitching. If I were the Rangers I would lure their pitching scouts from them.
Honestly I think the Rangers just go thru the motions tonight and the season ends. I hope I'm wrong!
