Simple way to calculate is count " one thousand 1" , " one thousand two"
Thats very close to a second each time.
Watched Brady in the last game and did this. Ball comes out in about 2 seconds .
Also, his line gives him a relatively clean pocket/lane to throw through.
Also, Ron Jaworski ( not a big fan of his) has stated that any NFL QB should
complete 60% of his passes given 2.5 seconds to release a pass.
This of course assumes a clean pocket, etc.
