Well there's an Improv in the Highlands in Arlington, as well. In the Highlands, there are literally ton of bars, restaurants, shops, etc... Just a matter of what you're into over there.

If you're looking for some pseudo kid stuff to do, I liked Alley Cats over by the Parks Mall in Arlington. Bowling, video games, laser tag, etc.
I think there's a putt putt over there, too, tho I know you like the real thing.
