Default Home crowd silence: Cowboys should follow MLS model with supporters groups

In order to address the issue of pervasive home crowd silence, the Cowboys should foster the growth of supporters group(s) and supporters section(s), where radical (or at least relatively radical) fans are encouraged to stand, chant, sing, etc. That way there is the constant generation of noise from at least one area of the stadium, and hopefully the spirit will spread to other parts of the stadium.

Supporters groups have been a big plus for MLS and for game atmosphere over the past decade. Those are more organic and fan-grown than the Cowboys' section likely would be. But I still think the concept could help.

The big issue, I suppose would be setting aside an area when you're dealing with seat licenses. The other issue is giving good enough seats in what could be prime dollar areas.

Or maybe they just offer the SRO areas on each side for a new group of fans. Heck, borrow FCD's groups.

Just no drums, please.
