I felt "satisfied" in the fact that Garrett actually adjusted to the pressure that Cleveland was getting on us in the first half. Even though the sacks were evenly split between the halves, I felt like our pass plays were quicker in development and this is evidenced by our scoring drives of 9,8,9 & 8 plays. If we were taking deep shots the whole half, we would not have taken 8 and 9 plays to move down field....

In the first half the Cowboys got off to their typical slow start trying to establish a running game and not attempting the quick hitting passes. They put themselves in 3rd and long situations and couldn't get anything going while the Browns were moving the football on the ground and through the air. Garrett didn't adjust quick enough and it almost got the Cowboys blown out by halftime. The Cowboys offense had no pace or rhythm in the first half which resulted in 68 total yards which was their lowest first half total in 5 years.
In the second half the Cowboys started showing a sense of urgency and picked up the pace being down by 13 points. Their 2 biggest plays were down the field to Dez one a 30 yard play and the other was a 28 yard TD. The Cowboys need to start games with a faster pace like we see later in games. The slow paced, sluggish starts have gotten them down in a couple of games in which they were able to battle back once they started showing a sense of urgency.
They erased a 23 point deficit to NY a few weeks ago after picking up the pace. The Cowboys need to get out of the blocks a lot quicker if they're going to beat some of the teams they have coming up. They come out slow against Washington on Thursday RG3 will put on a show.
