I watched the first installment of Ken Burns two part documentary "The Dust Bowl" on PBS last night and was struck by the incredibly resilient people who recounted those tough times. Perhaps we need to be thankful that they learned difficult lessons and are still speaking to us through history. I highly recommend watching. Some of you probably live near the area covered in the film.
In any event, I will be at work wle you guys are shaking your drumsticks at the TV, so i'll wish you a great day and a good launch into Thanksgiving.
