The reality is, you can tell by looking at a coach if he is getting the most out of his team. I don't even think Garrett is coming close. Look around the league at all the teams that have less but are miraculously better.
Indy, Tampa, Seattle, 49ers.
I mean, it's almost comical how other teams can seemingly get more out of their collection of players than Dallas can when Dallas has a number of players that would start on any of those teams.
Garrett isn't close at getting the potential out of Dallas.
[View Full Quote]It seems like some have hitched their wagons so strongly to Garrett that they willfully overlook the fact that Dallas just isn't that much better today than they were when he took over.

Wade needed to go. He had lost the team. He had lost the team long before the GB game. The problem was that Jerry had a succession plan in place from the day Wade was hired and regardless of who was available, Red was the guy. Now he is just reluctant to admit it was a mistake.
With a team like this you can't have the "nice guy" coaches. You need someone who doesn't give a dang about your contract, your status or your endorsement deals. You need a coach who will sit guys down when they are sucking.
