maybe I don't understand the situation, but I know Phoenix Suns' fans believe they were jobbed in favor of the Spurs in the WC finals. While I don't agree, it's obvious that Stern doesn't devise ways to screw over the Spurs or he would've then, for a bigger TV draw in phoenix.
And whether intentional or not, do you honestly believe that this particular tactic is not an insult to fans? If you do believe it is, then the fine was the right thing.
