then by your logic, both popovich and stern did the right thing, because it's Stern's job to make the NBA as much money as possibile.
And if every team adopted this strategy, the NBA would see dropping attendance numbers and much less revenue.
Yes buying a ticket doesn't garuntee you anything, but good luck running a buisness that occasionally gives your fans a big **** you for reasons beyond most of them.
You can get away with that if you run the MVA, but if you want fans to spend as much money as they do, you have to know that the Spurs have crossed the line.
