I see one problem with this comparison: the 2012 Boys didn't have "an average to below average oline". For most of the season our oline play was, to put it mildly, utterly abysmal.
No one is saying Romo needs a perfect situation, but it should be obvious to anyone who watched this team this season that he definitely needs a better supporting cast.
