Bill Young out, Glenn Spencer promoted to Oklahoma State defensive coordinator

STILLWATER, Okla. – Bill Young will step down after four seasons as Oklahoma State's defensive coordinator and be replaced by linebackers coach Glenn Spencer.

Coach Mike Gundy announced the changes Thursday. The move means that Oklahoma State will have new play-callers on both offense and defense, after offensive coordinator Todd Monken left to become the head coach at Southern Miss.

that's really horrible news for Ok St IMO. I thought Young did an amazing job. He groomed some 2-3 star high school players into NFL level talent. His D created a ton of turnovers. While they gave up quite a few yards and points, they were always left on the field most of the game because of how quickly the offense either scored or punted. I don't think Young was working with the caliber of recruits that UT or OU has had either and yet OK St has beaten both them a fair amount recently.
Still left to accomplish:
sign OT Winston or G Moore
