When Michelle and I walk we go up an old country road down from the house. Along the way there are fire ant hills often several in sight at a time on just one side of the road.
During the summer there are often ants about the hill doing their little ant things. During the winter there is generally no activity so I often swipe the hill with my shoe and out comes thousands of fire ants ready to defend their nest or hive or whatever its called.
Michelle gets upset with me for doing that so I have stopped stirring up the ants. Sooner or later they were going to sting me anyway.
So the moral of the story is to let sleeping ants lie.
You do it because it is either fascinating or fun I take it.
What's the difference except who is doing it? Because I sure don't see this analogy being shared with the other side.
