12. One of the most interesting things to watch throughout practice is to watch the running backs try to pass block and pick up the blitz. It’s something that many of these prospects aren’t used to doing, but will need to do it if they hope to get on the field early in their NFL career. I thought Robbie Rouse had a better day as he tried to hold his own against much bigger players, he’s only about 5’5″ tall but he’s got a compact, strong frame and was able to stay underneath these bigger pass rushers. He regarded to me that “he loves to pass protect”.

Kenjon Barner had his moments, but he will have to get stronger if he hopes to hold up vs. linebackers and defensive linemen. Barner is what he is and that is a speed, space player who can break a big play, but doesn’t play real physical.
