Life of Pi -
The Hobbit -
Les Mis -
All three were terrific for different reasons. Life if Pi was a visual feast, but required thought and reflection about the boy's life. The Hobbit was the Peter Jackson visual spectacular with some humor thrown in. A bit lighter than LOTR. Action sequences were quite long. Les Mis was a great view, particularly if you've seen the live production. The knock on Russel Crowe's singing is unwarranted. He's an actor who sings a bit, not a singer who acts a bit. Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway were outstanding.
