IRVING, Texas – Troy Aikman doesn’t think
Tony Romo should be replaced any time soon. That doesn’t mean the Cowboys shouldn’t start preparing for the future.
Aikman said he thinks it’s time the Cowboys look at spending a mid-round draft pick on a potential quarterback.
“I like the way that the Packers did it for all those years,” Aikman said on NFL.com, “that you bring a guy in essentially every season, whether you draft him in the fourth round or fifth round or third round, whatever it might be. I think there’s something to be said for that.”
