The longer the Cowboys go without identifying their offensive play-caller for 2013, the more I see Jason Garrett holding his play card again this fall.
And frankly, I don’t blame him for fighting to maintain control of this offense.
His offense. As long as he’s holding that play card, Garrett controls his destiny as an NFL head coach.
The reality of the situation is Garrett could be entering his final season as head coach of the Cowboys. Jerry Jones won’t brand it a win-or-else season, but after back-to-back nonplayoff years with a team ownership considers a Super Bowl contender, Garrett does indeed need to win or else.
