IMO, the 4-3 was the adjustment to make in the second half, to force McNabb to pass and put some serious size on the line. New England did it to them in the Superbowl, and Dallas 4-2-5 contained them in Dallas. Philly was running for the first time all year last night, and that had their best offensive unit, their OL, into the game and driving our defense backward.
I think Spears, Fergy, Glover, Ellis/Canty would have made for an imposing line and helped counter the well-playing Philly OL. Ware could have brought pressure from the OLB spot if needed-- I mean if you're going to stand him up anyway then give him some space. Instead, he was owned most of the night by a giant of a LT (except for one more bull rush play where he forced an incompletion).

I like the confusion the 3-4 brings, heck, Roy might not get that last pick without it, but the 4-3 has its place.

We played more 4-3 in our 1st game against them and it was more effective.
Be excellent to each other....
