Because they didn't look exactly the same in the photo, you assumed that one of them was doing it wrong, when they simply could have been unsynchronized. In this instance, showing the quarterbacks' ball position as they drop back, it doesn't matter if they're synchronized, because we know how the ball should be held at every point in time during the dropback.
