While I agree to a point I kind of have my own take on the whole thing. I agree this is a very weak class of WR's. The only WR worth taking in Round 1 seems to be Santonio Holmes and he could well gone by the time Dallas picks at 18.
I really think if Holmes is gone we need to concentrate on taking the BPA at 18. I do think there will be some good value in Round 2 at the WR position that could pay dividends this year. Derek Hagan, Hank Baskett, Martin Nance and Sinorice Moss are all players Dallas could look at in Rounds 2 and 3 that could come right in and make a difference. Moss is one I would like to keep my eye on. Despite his small stature he has the quicks and playmaking abilities of his older brother Santana and worst case scenario he could be compared to Roscoe Parish.
I don't think taking a WR in this years draft will prevent Dallas from addressing the position more in the future if not this year. If we land Holmes then is it a really big deal anyways? If we don't, we will be losing Glenn and Johnson over the next 2 years and the position will have to be further evaluated anyways.
