Partly true. I.e. Tillman wasn't going to be a Pro-bowler anytime in his Life Probably. But he was a sollid starter at the very least. He was an NFL player and was offered decent contract for a decent Starter money.

Its one thing to disparage his playing skills but another to disparage his motive for doing what he did, IMO. Not that you are saying anything different.
