Default Current Draft Order

I am not figuring any tie breakers yet. I'm not slotting playoff seeds higher. Also not switching traded picks. Just slotting the teams on the winning % of their 2006 opponents.

How did you devise those percentages out of equal records? Did you formulate a strength of schedule or something?
Conan O'Brien will work you until you are pale !

I made a program that has the entire season's schedule already entered. Then all I have to do is add a win when a team wins and a loss when they lose and it automatically calculates the %s.

if we do end up picking in the middle somewhere, my pre-combine wishlist would include either Levi Brown or Jake Long, both offensive linemen.

If not, OL, then I would hope Dwayne Jarrett would fall to us. He's probably not going to come close to his last year numbers, so I'm hoping he slides a little, but his stock could also skyrocket if he runs a good 40.

Number 3 on the wishlist would be a stud CB.

FS, Laron Landry, of LSU is still on top of my wish list. I like Pat Watkins, Landry is a difference maker.

If a QB is there I think we have to consider it. OL is definitely a top need.

I have some favoritism w. Michigan but Long is a great OT which could be a very viable option and if we want CB early Hall has been a stand out this year (not sure if it would be a stretch though).

I was looking at these teams and thinking. That's almost the 12 playoff teams as it stands right now. All 8 division leaders are there. The problem is there are 7 AFC teams and 5 NFC teams.

If you went strictly by the draft order (Yes, I know they won't end up this way) KC would be out and Philly in.

I do think it's safe to say that 7 of the 8 division leaders at the halfway point all have their divisions in jeopardy. The Broncos and Chargers are in a dogfight for the AFC West. The rest not so much.

We figured the NFC East was the best division in football prior to the season. I think the AFC West might argue that.

I think that after looking at last night and knowing how messed up the Cards are that the Raiders and Cards will be one and two in some order.Houston 3; browns 4. Detroit seems to be getting its O together so I put them at 5.
After that who knows. with 8 games to go its going to get jumbled all over. I wonder what the draft order looked like this time last year, and then compare it with the actual 2006 draft.
