The Scout.com message boards apparently have somebody out there covering it (don't know who), and the info I've found has been from reposts of those reports...

Also, were Syvelle Newton, Tyrone Moss and Matt Herian people you are hoping we look at, or players the Cowboys have shown interest in?
I've heard nothing about Herian, but the Boys did indeed show some interest in Newton (who I'd never heard of before this week) and Moss... as a result, both are now on my list, because I do like to recognize players I know the Boys have shown an interest in... Moss looks like a semi-interesting power-type back, while Newton is apparently angling to be the next "Slash", but still looks like an eventual undrafted rookie free agent type...
Smarter than the av-er-age bear...

lmfao...

This Newton guy is something else. He apparently thinks he has first round potential as a receiver, despite his meager 12 receptions as a senior.

He sounds like a punk according to this article...

Assault (Syvelle Newton - He punched the USC Student Body President! - charges not filed

The report said Williams claimed he "attempted to calm down several other people who were talking," and that Newton "punched him in the left side of his face." According to the same report, Williams told police that as he was struck, Newton said, "Yeah bi*ch, that's how we get down," and immediately left the scene.

What a bad a**.

Then again, he can play QB, RB, WR, and Safety. His versatility must give BP a chubby. If he played baseball he would be ours in the first round.

Interesting stuff none the less. Would definitely be worth taking a look at if he goes undrafted.

I'd rather take Chansi Stuckey if we wanted to go the versatile athlete route, at least Chansi has produced somewhat marginally at the college level, although I say he was above-average
