This is just a thread about DBs running a 40. It has nothing to do with Watkins, or giving up on him, or comparing him to anyone.

Myself. What if we draft one of these guys and they don't come out like gang buster do we just throw in the towel on them as well? You can go through a heck of a lot of players doing things that way. Like most players you have to give them a chance to show themselves and it does not happen overnight in most cases.

Spending a 1st rd pick on a FS has a lot to do with giving up on Watkins and that appears to be the feeling of some based on comments. This has nothing to do with you or anything you said but I think we do have a lot of people who appear to be quick to give up on Watkins
