Default Pitt QB Tyler Palko?

I'm a big Pitt fan(alamnae) and an even bigger Cowboy fan. My favorite player at the time Tony Dorsett was drafted by the Cowboys. So was Antonio Bryant. Maybe it will happen again.

I'm hoping Palko gets drafted by the Cowboys in the later rounds. I've seen him play for 3 years. He has had 2 years under Dave Wannsted and Matt Cavanaugh. I think he could be a good 4th, 5th or 6th pick.

It would not surprise me to see the Cowboys draft 2 QBs this year. Troy Smith (QB/slash/WR) and Palko would be fine with me.

He is a late rounder at best, I doubt we draft two QBs. I could see a FA signing, a second day draft choice as the third stringer, and stashing Baker again on the practice squad.

Trivia...How many left handed QBs are in the Hall of Fame and who are they?

Try and answer without looking it up.

John Elway and Steve Young!

I'm spent. Don't bother correcting me on Elway, either.

Elway was a righty.

Did it anyway.

Ken "The Snake" Stabler? Wasn't he a leftie? Is he in the HOF? Al Davis seems to like lefty QBs.

Two QB's in the draft? I don't believe we will do that.

Do you mean that threw left handed or do you also mean that were naturally left handed but threw right handed?

Palko is weak left or right handed.

Stabler.....I don't mind lefties, but Palko, I really didn't like what I saw from him. Seemed like it was painful watching him throw. He is mobile, and won some games, but it was hard to watch him sometimes, at least for me.

Stabler is not in the Hall of Fame.

Answer...Steve Young is the only left handed throwing QB in the Hall of Fame.

That is slightly skewed however. I think you're old enough to remember when schools/parents tried to "cure" being left handed.
