Mason is certainly worth a 3rd, just not for us because we already have 2 on the roster.

Yeah, I wasn't suggesting we spend one on Mason this year.

I was just curious to see what people would say...

Looking at that 2nd round pick that ESPN has us taking shows how out of touch they really are to what the Cowboys needs really are.
They have no idea of what really goes on with the Cowboys.

Who says Crosby is a "sure bet"? Drafting a PK that high means someone is high. JJ may be a lot of things BUT he ain't a crack-head. May go for a PK in the 7th since we have three picks.....

Why do kickers always have such weird names?

Thats about what I thought. Hard to see us drafting a kicker especially after resigning Automatica.

Well i think some on the thread(me included) weren't talking about drafting one now, but the merits of drafting a K in the 3rd IF they end up being a stud for a decade. I know it was a hypo question, but if i go back in time and you say give me a 3rd for Adam V in his prime fore 8 years, i'll take it. I know you were responding to a different post, but i do think in certain situation, a 3rd on a K is warrented. I'm glad as heck we don';t ahve to worry because i think auto is the man

Default Myself....

I would be very surprised if Dallas drafted a kicker in Day Two...has the guy writing the article found any support of his idea in ANYTHING that the Cowboy organization has ever done?

I like Ross, but have to question his depth of talent, as he only got a good shot of play on the field, his senior year...no matter how good that one season was, I would have some reservations here. I have to admit, that he did have a pretty good senior year. He also has received good evaluations on a broad basis of support.

As to going 'postal', I'm a postal worker and I really wouldn't take things in that direction.....

Everything said and done...I only would like about ten players at the first round pick for Dallas...go figure.

I think WR is a critical need spot for the future...I'll be totally shocked if a WR isn't taken in rounds 1 or 2.
