This would be a great pickup.

Oh that makes a lot of sense.

He s their number 1 receiver no doubt but the fact that they signed Bennett should indicate to anyone with a modicum of sense that they are going towards a more balanced passing attack. Thus s possesion receiver in the draft makes sense but as per usual any indication that we might have the oppurtunity to draft a RB or S on day 1 just means summer sticks his head farther and farther into the sand.

HaH...Lions select another WR, well this is a very credible mock draft now.

I'd nut myself if we got Landry

Or conversely, I'd drive up to Valley Ranch and show Jerruh's insides what a size 12 steel-toed boot looks like if he fell to us and we didnt pick him

I don't know what this has to do w/ me not wanting a S and RB on the 1st day, many people believe Landry is a top 10 pick, I just don't see St. Louis sacrificing the chance to draft an impact player for their D, for a possession receiver

Sometimes i wonder if you are truly feigning density or if it is real.

In any situation where a safety or RB prospect is proposed to fall to us you do your best to shoot it down. Its a trend.

You dont even use correct logic. What would have made sense is that with Holt, Bruce and Bennet under contract they dont need another receiver.

Regardless I still would see you being mad if Landry did fall to us and we picked him up.

I wouldn't be mad at all if a top 10 pick fell to us at 22, not at all, I just don't see Landry dropping all the way to 22 when Donte Whitner, a lesser prospect, went #8 or #9 overall last year, Landry can do so much, he can patrol CF, and he can cover the slot receiver, a perfect pick for St. Louis

but can I have a preference for who I want to take in the 1st? please, can I? good Gawd

btw, I don't think Landry gets past San Fran or Atlanta

Think Clark Judge is drawing names out of a hat and calling it his mock?

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

I also don't think Landry will still be on the board by the time we pick, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if Jones wants to trade down (that is, "if" he can find a team to trade with) in order to pick up additional picks.
