Street and Smith's 7 round mock
Dallas
Rnd1-Reggie Nelson-FS-Florida
Rnd2-Justin Blalock-OG-Texas
Rnd3-Johnnie Lee Huggins-WR-UTEP
Rnd4-Michael Coe-CB-Alabama St
Rnd5-Cory Anderson-FB-Tennessee
Rnd6-Adam Koets-OT-Oregon St
Rnd7-Justin Medlock-K-UCLA
Rnd7-Tony Korrodi-QB-Central Missouri St.
Rnd7-Desmond Bishop-ILB-California
I was very interested seeing this until the Medlock pick. JJ will never draft a kicker. I am convinced of that.
The first 5 picks I like even though I doubt that Blalock in 2nd lasts til our pick.

Like you said, I doubt Blalock drops to us, and if he does, I'm not sure we'd draft him.
Reggie Nelson...well let's just say that from what I heard from Jerry, I'm willing to look towards other positions first round.
Some board members are high on Johnnie lee higgins, but I really don't know much about them.
Was Medlock the one with the "quick release"?
Thanks YoMick!

I would be very pleased with that draft.
I covet a WR early this year, but the value of those picks are excellent.

There ain't no way in hell that Blalock is lasting to our pick in the 2nd round. I don't think he's going to last until the 2nd round period. He'll go late at the end of the 1st.

And we'd have one the worst pass rushes in the league 12 years and running.

No way we wait until round 7 to address the front 7 on D.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

No offense, but a guy like Anthony Spencer or Quentin Moses at #22 would give us the best PR in the league? Hey, i'm all for a PR but i'm afraid if Canty, Spears, Ratliff, Fergy, Ware, Burnett, James, Akin, Ellis, Carp and Roy can't get it done, then this pass rush won't improve. You see what Carp did last year. The starters are pretty much settled in on that front 7. There's a pretty good chance a rookie pass rusher doesn't get much time, especially when your talking about the 22nd pick. Although i'd like to see a guy like Jay Morre in the 4th, this is a great value mock if Blalock drops. If they wanted a sure thing at pass rusher they should have gotten one of the couple LBs that were out there in FA.

First day would be outstanding -- 2nd days are always impossible to predict
