I don't agree that these guys have to run or perform at their pro days. They can do either their pro days or the combine. Seems as if they do at least one, that is enough. Add that to what they did on the field and you should have enough information on them. Running the 40 one more time really isn't going to prove anything.

I kind of agree with you but you never know. These exact same things were said about Priest Holmes when he came out. Interesting to me that Young actually reminds me of Priest a lot when he was at Texas.

Less likely IF we sign Hamlin; will be on our radar IF we don't sign Hamlin.....How do we pass on a productive, athletic FS when that's our biggest area of need?

I really liked Priest Holmes coming out of UT. I was surprised no one drafted him and was hoping Dallas would grab him to back up Emmitt. Young does not remind me of Holmes at all. Priest was productive when he saw the field. Young was not and has played with the better teams. They may have a lot of similar measurables, but Priest just seemed to show more on the field.

I heard an interview on the local sports station with Gil Brandt yesterday. He talked about Ramonce Taylor. Said he that Taylor looked out of shape, which was disappointing. He thought Ramonce had a chance to be drafted on the second day prior to the combine and pro day if he had a good showing, but now will probably go undrafted. I guess the young man still does not know how lucky he has it.

TURD POINTS TIED TO TEXAS CORNER
The Dallas Morning News reports that Texas cornerback Tarrell Brown was been arrested and charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession.
It's the second arrest of Brown since September 2006, when he was charged with misdemeanor marijuana and gun possession charges after being found asleep in the back seat of a car with a pistol in his lap. (Insert cringe here.) The marijuana charges were dropped after someone else accepted possession of the pot, which seems to be the norm whenever weed is in the vicinity of a football player.
Friday's arrest was the result of the discovery of a baggie containing marijuana residue during a routine traffic stop. Brown has yet to claim that the baggie was for his jewelry, but it's a strategy he might want to consider.
With the pending gun charge and the fresh marijuana charge, any team that drafts or signs Brown will be strapped with six points on Turd Watch (soon to be known as Turd List) come late April.
Per NFLPA records, Brown is represented by agent Brian Overstreet.

I think Young is better than given credit for and he wasn't near the fumbler last year as he was earlier in his career. Of course it would have been nice to see what Young or Charles could have done without having to run 20 yards sideways every stinking play.
