That's funny Kiper doesn't normally do underclassmen. I guess with more and more declaring, he has to, to stay on top of all these other draft sites. But so far my wish list is

1a) Darren McFadden, RB
1b) Antone Cason, CB
2) DJ Hall, WR
3) any NT

Or if we get lucky

1a) Darren McFadden RB
1b) Early Doucet WR
2) Dwight Lowery CB
3) probably used to trade up for Doucet

Or W/O trading

1a) DeSean Jackson WR (not a big fan of his yet, cause I'm not convinced in his ability to get off the LOS against NFL CBs)
1b) Steve Slaton RB
2) Dwight Lowery CB
3) any NT

it's really early to talk about '08 but I love to:

I think Cleveland gives us a top 5 pick possibly top 2. No need getting a RB for a $ 30 million signing bonus to be platooned with MB3:

With Cleveland pick: Trade down 2 times. First time get:
(First rounder) top 10, second rounder, (third rounder or # 2 next year) and a CB on a roster (# 3 CB).

Trade down again into 10-20 range get a second rounder and 4th rounder.

With our pick, hopefully very late in round 1 we have total picks:

2 # 1's (draft CB, RB)
3 # 2's (draft WR, NT, CB)
2 "3's (draft S, WR)
2 # 4's (draft OL, OLB)
CB from another roster

Revamp secondary, insurance for Terry Glenn, and Ferguson.
I had some time to kill today.

I am completely with you here.
Trade that top 5 down a bit and get two first rounders and a 2nd or 3rd.

I also love Antoine Cason.

I'd like to see Adarius Bowman in late 1, early 2 and Steve Slaton as the speed back to platoon with MBIII.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'd want to use a pick that high on a 6 foot 166 pound reciever. 166 is too small. I'd rather get Early Doucet or wait until later for a reciever.

I know it's unlikely but I really like this scenario. If the Pats let go of Assante Samuel then Jerry Jones opens the vault and hands him a big payday to play for the Cowboys. I know Newman will be expecting a big contract but now that he is injured and won't be 100% for the rest of the season, Jerry has some leverage to give him a moderate contract w/incentives especially since Newman has no Pro-Bowl appearances. This results in 2 shutdown cornerbacks with the possible move of Henry to free safety or 3rd CB. This turns our secondary into an elite unit.

THEN, the 'Boys package their 2 first round draft picks to select Darren McFadden, the best prospect in the draft and the best RB to come out in many years.

THEN, the 'Boys use their 2nd round pick to select the best WR out there.

AND BOOM! We win the next 2 Superbowls BABY!!!!

If we're in the top 2-3, I wouldn't mind moving down a few spots, but I wouldn't want to go down too far.

In the last 10 years our highest picks have been #5 in '03, #8 in '02 and #8 in '98. That netted us Newman, Roy and Ellis.

Ellis was solid, but unspectacular.
Roy had 1+ good years and has been a liability the last 3 years.
Newman is a top notch CB.

I'd be leery of dropping below pick 5-6, especially with JJ calling the shots.
