i recently bought a new laptop and its widescreen. so my WP's now will be resoution 1280X800.

maybe ill make one 1024X768 once in awhile, but most of th time will be wide.

i have to stick to my own. i dont get into all them fads abo using pinks and half the crap u hear on them grahics sites. stick to what u do, and not what they're doing and u'll end up with better quality work.

Most graphic sites over due it and add entirely too much graphics trying to impress people. I love the nice flash but perfessional look.. simple gets it done right. I don't want a crowded desktop

i agree, i try to keep my wp's desktop friendly.

nice clean wp Latin, but your comment about graphic sites is off base,nobody said you had to do what others are doing,there are alot of good WP designers on various sites who do pro work and can keep it simple or complex and make it look great. Alot of guys want to expand and grow with there work and try new things,so you want to keep your style,that's fine,but dont make it like they are leading people in the wrong direction. I enjoy your wp's, but once I would like to see you do one with out a reflected render

Yeah, there are a lot of sheep designers out there. That is for sure.. You always have a nice clean style. I like it.. I also like Hoods' work at Cowboys-Forum

cant do that, because thats my style. thats like me saying i'd like to see something from you then the same shaded/textured background. u probably would say the same thing. u cant because thats the style u choose.

im not hating on them sites becase i visit them as much as the next. what im saying is dont try to get sunk in and religiously follow them fads they follow.

1 week they'll use something, next week they'll say its lame. lol because one of the popular designers say so. and they believe him.

happened to a great designer names crusafixx from wcremix. he posted on dfgfx, a dirk wp, so clean and good, i doubt anybody that was bashing him could make. but because one "popular " designer at dfgfx said it was mad the rest followed. and none of them have work that could rival his.

sp what i was saying is dont take what they do on them sites as religion and stick true to what he likes.

besides on them sites how much do u get them, " i dont like the font" from 95% of the posters who know nothing.

shaded,you mean creating a lighting affect, I always try to change things up,because I want to learn and apply new techniques. I understand how the sites are and their followers,and you are right how things go, the text part, not hard to tell good textwork from bad, and yes bad text work can ruin a sig/wall and besides it's just an opinion

i personally dont ever hate on anybody's technique..and yea im guilty of following trends but i never drift away from my technique ...i like smooth clean great lighting sigs and wall...im personally not a fan of grungy,messy,high contrast sigs..but hey if thats your style go for it...i use trendy stuff but just to use new techniques and then i carry on with the rest...and i sometimes do care for cnc by big time designers but meh i always think theres flaws to everybodys walls and sigs there isnt a perfect designer out there.
