Audio File Tank on The Lunch Break - 7/31/08

Tank on the Lunch Break
---------------------------

Tank says he's the strongest guy on the team right now and I am not going to argue with him, lol.

The best part about this interview is that they take email questions.

Some of the emailers send in some brilliant questions.

Especailly the emailers from NY.

(I have to clarify something here. My question was this: How important do you think the NT is to the Defense and do you have any personal goals?)

That doesn't mean as much with Larry Allen gone. Nice to know though.

Interesting that he said the cowboys are not as mentally tough as the bears were in their super bowl season.

You dont hear honesty like that too much.

yes 700 and I think it was 5 times. But just what I read. The video I seen only showed once, but it could have been the 5th. Also that was the year his shoulder started giving him problems, I think. Wonder if that was a wise choice to lift that much, more than once.

With 3 people holding the bar. Trust me I have lifted in that neighborhood and holding the bar matters in the lifting game.

Also, 40 reps with 225 aint no where near 700lbs. See pro bowl.

Not knocking LA just the whole 700 thing is B.S.

I would not lift that much without three guys ready to catch it. Would you?

The more I get to see Tank and listen to him to more I think Jerry made a good move bringing him along for the ride.

I loved it though. Because as long as someone on that D understands this maybe he can help them achieve that mental toughness needed to win a championship.

I think Tank saying that is more a leadership thing. If not it serves its purpose for that. Ya gotta luv that mentality in a lineman.
