Actually, after a bit of research...its "Ashtabula"
Ash-ta-buuuuuuuu-la
Aren't you an Abbott and Costello fan?
It's the name of the stubborn mule in the movie "Little Giant"

Forgot that movie ----Like a dog the least syllables the better( I am from Texas -you know how long it takes to say ashtabula with a southern drawl --plus knowing I am naming him after a stubborn mule ---I,m still open to suggestion- Eveyone would be saying who

Good morning, Pops and good morning to Sarge, Yeags, Juke, Leon, ABQ and Bob. As far as weather goes, it looks like a major Lake Effects blast of snow for upstate New York. Out here in Alberta, we're getting a snow, but it's the light, fluffy, easily shovelled stuff. Hunker down Bob, somebody left the gate open again!

Ya, we've gotten about 26 inches of snow since Saturday. LOVE it. Goin' snowmobiling all day Saturday after we get done diggin out the cabin.

There is no formula for success except an unconditional acceptance of life and what it brings.

That was a serious question Leon ----those 2 names are in the bloodline of the horse I bought ---I was asking a serious question -not about you love life

What love life? I just know girls, but not in the biblical sense Anyway, I was lying about the girls.
All I know is that Lani is a girl's name meaning "sky" or I suppose "heaven" but I could be wrong about heaven. Kai means sea or water. As I understand it, Kailua is a combination of two words; kai and elua. elua means two so kailua would be two seas or two waters.
I don't know if there is deeper meaning to either name. You might send a pm to Windward if you want to know more.
