I just had the mental image of Cbz leaning over a cloud, looking down, and shaking his head at me for even suggesting such an idea.

Good morning, Cbz and good morning to Sarge, Juke, Yeags, ABQ, Bob and Leon. Pops, could you check the new arrivals from Leogane, Haiti? My friend is still missing, but I've been advised that I shouldn't mention his name, out of respect for his family. There have also been some issues of identity theft (believe it or not) regarding missing people. We have not heard about him since the earthquake, so we continue to hold out hope. He had been in the south part of Haiti, but we don't know where he was last. There are about 1400 Canadians still missing and we wait.

Yeags, enjoy the new TV. HD is the way to go, for sure.
Sarge, enjoy the snowmobiling. I'm surrounded by them in my town.
Bob, I hope all the driving is worth it. Take care. There's a gate open off the coast of California, so they're getting wet and snow in the mountians.
Leon, Cbz would be proud of how people have conducted themselves in this thread.
ABQ, you're right, it is good to be alive. Take care of yourselves.
BTW, the Fan Zone has regressed. Again.

Again, good luck to your friend. I hope he's safe. You're right about the Fan Zone; I've hardly been able to read there lately.

Good morning, Pops and good morning to you all. Yeags, do you have a HDPVR as part of your package? If you subscribe to HBO or another movie channel, you can record HD movies and Blu Ray may not be necessary.

Thanks for your thoughts, guys. We're just in waiting mode and it may be a long time before we know if he's safe. So many people are dead or dying. It's hard to comprehend the situation.

The blu ray machine I picked up enhances standard DVD's...because like you, I have WAY too many DVD's to start over.

So, I ordered a select few blu ray movies...like, well, Young Frankenstein...just for kicks.

I'm glad you're having fun with yours...there's nothing quite like new toys.
RIP Santiago
