Funny...I drove past the house this morning to get the address...I was thinking of calling Animal Control...then someone mentioned "Hey, why don't you drop off your dog training business card to the owners instead"



The other thing I realized, if I was out there last night, without my dog and that dog came after me exactly the same way, I would still be running down the street screaming like an 11 year old girl.

It's quite amazing what we do, without thought, to protect our loved ones.

Me and the pooch got attacked by another dog.

Moron owners...had it loose at their front door..there wasn't a second of hesitation by the dog who charged us with bad intent. Actually, that was a good thing because it gave me a chance to get ready.

I pulled my dog behind me...positioned myself in front of the lunatic dog...and kicked it right in the chops when it arrived...to no avail...after the brawl broke out, I kicked it another three or four times...and actually punched it in the back of the head.

Things calmed down for a few seconds as the owner tried to control it...but it burst around him and back at us...

At that point I remember I carry dog repellent spray...I took it out and the owner say "SPRAY HIM!" Geezlouise, even the owner knew it was out of control.

As crazy Angus could get at times I never let him off the leash except in our backyard. I went to great lengths to keep that from happening. If he was just going to the vet he was on a leash and muzzled. I take all the blame for having to muzzle him. I didn't socialize him like I should have.

I think its suppose to be in the mid sixtys at home --Don't you miss Mar in the Panhandle

one of the colder places I have ever been...there was nothing to stop the wind when Phil opens the gate. I use to love running from Tornados too gave me something to do. Good ole Pampa, Texas were oil flows and wheat grows...I also remember playing football in 80+ degree weather on Christmas day funny how that works that way.

Good morning Cbz. Morning Sarge, Yeags, Juke, Leon, ABQ, Bob, Zax and anybody I might have missed. I'm home and surprised at how much snow has melted. Juke, I like the suggestion about the dog training for that angry hound. Don't damage your hands, your guitar will get angry.

I met some football fans on the ship. a guy was wearing a T-shirt that said "Dallas sucks and TO swallows". He replied that he was and was proud of it. I congratulations on their stellar record against the Boys, the acquisition of their game changer, Michael Vick, and asked about Westbrook's future. He assured me that Westbrook would be back and would be a major force. What he did not know at the time was that Westbrook had just been released. He then advised me that the Cowboys were going "down". My reply? "Down" to the Superbowl.

All in all, a great trip. Now I have to shed a few pounds. Have a great weekend, guys.
