Default Just wanted to brag

hope that's okay. This isn't about the Cowboys or football, for that matter, but I am really proud of my daughter. She is a Level 5 Junior Olympic gymnast. She trains really hard 5 days a week doing the sport that she loves. She's a really shy little girl so it amazes me to see her perform the way she does.

I thought I'd share a video I made from last season when she was in Level 4, if anyone is interested. She came 2nd in state last year after a really strong season. This new season starts in two months and she's been training a new level all summer.

She's really excited to get this season started. Wish her luck!

Amazing talent for such a little girl.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Wow, you guys! I'm touched that you all took the time to watch this and for all the really nice replies. I was hesitant to post this, as I know how this forum can get, but I should have know you all would be very gracious and supportive!

Thanks again!

Thank you for the compliment! My husband feels the same as you do regarding the scoring. He chirps in my ear for every deduction she gets. Of course she's his little girl so he thinks she deserves perfect 10's, lol. Having been a gymnast myself I understand how the sport is so I know where the deductions will be.

Thank you, I am very proud of that little girl. She works her tail off and enjoys every minute of it! Well, except maybe the conditioning during off season. Can't really blame her there, though.

I'm serious, .. keep us up on how she does with each competition.

Then when she wins her first gold medal, we can all swagger and say, "Heck, I knew her way back when ..."
