I don't think he needs to be replaced unless he's beaten out fairly and squarely. I think his play has been inconsistent enough to garner fair competition.

If Romo beats out whom ever the competition is, then he deserved it.

Romo can look great at times, as evidenced by his play against the Eagles in 2010, when the team won its first playoff game since 1996. But then Romo can look awful. Remember the game against Buffalo when he threw five interceptions?

A game which he battled back from all 5 of those interceptions to put his team in field goal range to win the game.

Romo seriously is the most underrated player in this entire league. Never have I seen a quarterback with such a piss poor offensive line, no legit running game, and a swiss cheese defense get so unjustifiably criticized.
