I was wondering the same thing. It's good to see people getting ready for the holiday season and we need that young fella from Germany to be part of the action. It's good to be here after a victory (or any time for that matter) and here's hoping that everybody has a great day.

Morning Pops. Morning Fellas, Kristie. Morning Zoners.

Well, I echo Sarge. Joe Frazier was one heck of a fighter and my favorite growing up. I'm sorry to see him pass.

Everybody, have a great day.

Good afternoon, Cbz and all Zoners. It's sad to see Frazier die, particularly after the recent appearances with Ali. There was a story about a photo session with them both, during which Ali's hand tremors were quite pronounced. Apparently Frazier gently reached down and held Ali's hand still during that shot. Those present were quite moved, considering the bitterness that previously existed between the two. The "Thrilla in Manila" still ranks as one of the most incredible fights ever. R.I.P., Smokin' Joe.
I watched cancer kill my mother over 20 years ago. I can only imagine the pain his family experienced. Look in on him, Cbz, but watch for the left hook.

Have a good day, folks.

I had the displeasure of losing my mother to cancer about 20 years ago also and it was shortly after thanksgiving were she took a turn for the worse and never recovered and died around the new year, she was the glue that held the family together after she passed we all sorta just drifted apart.... (sigh)

Joe was a good one...

Thanks for the memories...there is another guy I miss ( Bob Hope)

I listen during the day to internet radio you guys may like the channel I found it is called Breezy Radio 1700AM... I strongly suggest you give it a listen brings back wonderful memories
Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind. These passions, like great winds, have blown me hither and thither, in a wayward course, over a great ocean of anguish, reaching to the very verge of despair....Bertrand Russell

Morning Pops and a good humpday morning to all the Morning Crew.

It is suppose to be 70 degrees here in upstate NY so I took the day off. I am going up to the cabin to put the Christmas lights up and get the place ready for snowmobiling this winter. Perfect day to get it ready.

You folks have a great day ahead.
