Don't mean to hijack the thread,because it's a great thread,but glad to hear your going. I will go into more detail on my visit there and my total NY visit in another thread a little later,and if I can figure out why I'm having trouble uploading photos from my computer to photobucket,I'll throw in some pics,too.

i would love to go, it will be a priority when we visit NY eventually. i just found it funny cause my immediate reaction was a chuckle then a 'wait i shouldnt laugh at that, that is terrible'

kinda like when you laugh at your gf for falling down cause you know she is ok but you know you shouldn't because she is going to be pissed that you did but you can't help it

Can someone explain to me the preponderance of pepper spray images? They seem to be photoshopped or created for all kinds of stuff and I have no idea what the genesis of the "joke" is.

It has to do with the Occupy business. A cop pepper sprayed someone at a protest.
