2012 NFL Draft Pick #14 (would be a huge surprise if not one of these three)
2012 NFL Draft Pick #14 for the Dallas Cowboys will be one of these three:
Janoris Jenkins
Dre Kirkpatrick
David DeCastro
Will be completely caught off guard if it's anyone else. Your Opinion ?

If the draft were today, then perhaps, given the idea that at least one of them would be available. But there's still an awful lot to get through over the next 2 1/2 months, that could - and most likely will - make a big difference.
There's always more to the story.

Honestly said, I think there is a real possibility that Jenkins and Kirkpatrick aren't even on the Cowboys draft board given their off field issues.
I would go with DeCastro for sure, and then after that Ingram (could be gone by 14 though), Upshaw, or as a surprise pick, Brockers or Poe on the DL.
So, to sum up
1. DeCastro
2. Ingram (if still available) or 3. Upshaw
Surprise picks as of today
4. Brockers
5. D Poe

Wood Ouch
Wood I think I would be disappointed with Brockers or Poe @ #14 only if trading down. Brockers reminds me of Spears just too much !!!

I really don't know much about him, other than he's young, has the size and seems to have the athleticism.
But my reasoning is this,
I think we get a veteran CB to replace Newman via FA.
I also think we sign a veteran Safety. Maybe Elam.
That leaves LB and DL and OG as the likely draft picks, imo.

I am starting to really want....for 2nd and 3rd Rounds
2nd Round....Chase Minnifield CB
3rd Round.....Ben Jones C
(I just think those would be two solid picks, but I realize all the guessing really means squat because it all depends on Free Agency and who they sign)

I was hoping we got away from Elam @ Safety because he just doesn't seem quick enough)

Appreciate your asking. I've always been a believer that games are most won or lost at the line of scrimmage. So even though we have a number of young players on the OL already, I would have to go with DeCastro as well.

Oh yeah. I said I liked Dre cause he smokes pot. I just think he is the best pick of those three. I'm not overly thrilled with any of them.

For me, it depends on what we do in free agency. If we fail to get a starting CB opposite Newman, give me Jenkins. If we get a starting CB, I want DeCastro.
It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed.

CB's with the same last name in the same backfield? Jenkins on both sides?
