Bob Sturm Safest Pick?

After Cox, Coples and DeCastro who is the SAFEST Draft Choice at 14?

I wouldn't call Coples safe... but i'm going to go with Gilmore or Upshaw after that. I don't like the Upshaw pick though.

Possibly Barron.

I would say trade down may be safest option if DeCastro and Cox are gone.

I wouldn't call Coples safe either. I think Gilmore and Barron are next on the list. Maybe Upshaw.

Luke Kuechly
Kendall Wright
Mark Barron
Cordy Glenn
Coby Fleener

These guys strike me as safe, obviously we won't draft a WR or TE at 14 though.
We need wins, and that's all we need. I don't give a damn about anyone on this roster over wins. I'd trade Ware, Lee and Dez if it meant more wins.

The 20 year old DT from LSU Brockers looks to be at least a safe pick...he could stud out.

He is the player that I really don't know what to think about. He could end up being a solid player.....but the production just isn't really there. Doesn't have the high motor I think is required to play in the front 7. But like I said, I don't know what to think about him.

I'd prefer Cox or Coples, but the next safest pick, imo, is Brockers.

He is what he is....on day one he'd be better than any DE on the roster.

Right now he can do his job versus the run and is a load to block 1-1. His potential to get even bigger, stronger, and more polished since he was only twenty this year, is staggering.

He would be a starter for many years even if he didn't get better, but if he reaches his maturity and potential, he'll command double teams.

Difficult question after Aaron Curry was viewed as the "safest" a few years ago. Never know.

Luke Kuechly and a distant second would be Cordy Glenn.

Probably Barron, dont see much "bust potential" with him. He will be a good safey, maybe not probowl level, but he will be a good safety in the NFL.
As the official head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, Jason Garrett is 16-16............"Its a Process of stacking good days"

2013 Prediction: "NO PLAYOFFS"

Kuechly though I have seen him going as high as 9.

Obviously DeCastro. I think 3 out of the 4 'Bama prospects are extremely safe picks. They may not be "boom" prospects but the bust factor for all 3 is very low IMO. The only guy i question is Kirkpatrick.

Coples safe? Hardee-har-har.

Don't think so.

I would have to say Glenn.
