Default Second Round Options

In the first round Dallas should go with Mark Barron or some D-line help in my opinion. I still thing Guard is a very weak position that needs to be addressed in the draft. Amini Silatolu is a division II player that looks nasty on film and will move too the guard position. If available in the second round i think he would be a smart pick to help the run game and keep Tony on his feet.

Highlights of Amini

Is Irvin a 2nd round pick, or a 3rd?

Look for a DB or a LB to fall in our laps...after we draft a DL in the 1st.

When the front 7 is dominant in the Ryan scheme, it works to perfection.

Then look for our offensive line failing again next year. No run game without trickery, no short yardage/red zone success, no playoff run.

Same old, same old in Dallas. Maybe next offseason we can add three or four more secondary players. That might finally get us over the hump.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

2011 Injuries, first year starts, rookie seasons and free agent signings aside.

Agree. I would take decastro or glenn in the first not Baron and try and maneuver for Irvin in the 2nd. Irvin has risks but he has the highest potential as an edge rusher of anyone in this draft.

Lewis makes Spencer look like a dominant pass rusher.

We need our SOLB to be a 8-10 sack/year guy to take this defense to the next level. Lewis should be a 4-3 SOLB.

The guys that make most sense for use are Ingram, Branch, McClellin, Curry and Irvin. Those are the guys with the ability to terrorize QBs. Irvin is the most explosive but least well polished from that group. Ingram is the guy most ready to start day one.

These are possible players who could be options at #45;

Janoris Jenkins
Kevin Zeitler
Doug Martin
David Wilson
Dwayne Allen
Harrison Smith
Peter Konz
Brandon Thompson
Vinny Curry
Bruce Irvin
Shae McClellin
Jayron Hosley
Brandon Boykin
Jared Crick
Alshon Jeffery

Quite a list if you ask me.
At that moment a voice came over me and said, Look up, get up, and don't ever give up. You tell everyone or anyone that has ever doubted, thought they did not measure up or wanted to quit, you tell them to look up, get up and don't ever give up. - Michael Irvin

He wont be around by the time we pick in the 2nd round. If you want him, you'll need to trade into the low 1st to pick him.

Personally I like him a lot but doubt we will pick him unless he falls for sme reason.

We should be able to hit on the first three rounds.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

There's quit a bit of luck involved. You never know exactly how these kids translate to NFL. If it was so easy no team would ever have busts.

Zeitler, Curry, McClellin or Lewis are strong possibilities IMO.
