Would you be happy if
Our first 2 picks were Brockers and Irvin?

Honestly Michael Brockers scares me. I think he is a classic boom or bust player. Irvin in the 2nd again in my view is a bit of a reach.

No, not at all. I think both have a very high risk (60+%) of not contributing in any significant amount -- ever.

I don't care for Brockers too much. And Irvin would seem like a risky pick for the 2nd. I see the character issues taking him down to the 3rd.
So, no, I wouldn't be too happy.
3rd and 21 - 3rd and 15

I think someone might jump and grab Irvin in the 2nd. I don't think he makes it into the 3rd.
IMO it's okay to take a bit of a risk. I like the Irvin pick over the Brockers pick. I'd prefer the 1st to be someone solid like DeCastro though.

It seems like a lot of NFL people and former players are really interested in see'ing Brockers in the NFL.
I guess there is a ton of potential there and I personally think it's guaranteed that he'll be an elite run stuffer.

Personally I think he should have stayed in school for at least 1 more season. Heck he was eligible to remain 2 more years at LSU. I do agree there is potential there which is part of the Boom or Bust. I'm just not as sold on him as others are. If we get him I hope for the best but just not a guy I would pick.

Me too.
Maybe a bit disappointed but not crushed. Longer term, it may even be great.

Based on "hear say" from experts I would be happy with Brockers. The LSU program for producing NFL lineman scares me. But a lot of folks smarter than me, think he will be the exception.
I don't think Irvin makes it to the 3rd. We need pass rushers, he has produced at the college level.
I would be ok with those two and cross my fingers that they reach their "potential".

Happy? Not exactly. Nervously optimistic maybe. I'm not much a fan of Brockers and though I love Irvin, I still am unsure he can be a fulltime starter at OLB.
We need wins, and that's all we need. I don't give a damn about anyone on this roster over wins. I'd trade Ware, Lee and Dez if it meant more wins.

Brockers has Marcus Spears written all over him, and we already have Spears, Coleman, Geathers, etc.
I'd be really mad.

Irvin should not be taken before round 3.
