Default Eagles had a good draft

Rd 1 - #12(12) Fletcher Cox(DT) Miss St
Rd 2 - #14(46) Mychal Kendricks(ILB) California
Rd 2 - #27(59) Vinny Curry(DE) Marshall
Rd 3 - #25(88) Nick Foles(QB) Arizona
Rd 4 - #28(123) Brandon Boykin(CB) Georgia
Rd 5 - #18(153) Dennis Kelly(OT) Purdue
Rd 6 - #24(194) Marvin McNutt(WR) Iowa
Rd 6 - #30(200) Brandon Washington(OG) Miami
Rd 7 - #22(229) Bryce Brown(RB) Kansas St

Can't argue with that.

My Wildcats get their first QB since 1985 on an NFL roster and I have to hate him.

looks like they got one player for every position. Helps that they started out with some extra picks in the first few rounds, but their draft is certainly chock full of big name guys.

They should be happy with that haul.

Good draft but if Dallas drafted a backup QB in the 3rd a injured CB that might not be ready till mid season in the 4th, A OT who was a backup in college in the 5th and a RB who you can say has hardly ever played a game above the HS level, I could only imagine the fall out.

The early money says they skunked us unless Claiborne is Deion II or something close to it.

It helps that they had a couple of extra picks in a deep draft but they seemed to use them well and took fairly reasonable risks along the way (ie. injured CB in the 4th).

They'll probably convert Foles into a first rounder in two years and bring in their next backup.

When will people ever learn that bringing the Eagles backup QB won't bring them success unless they bring Andy Reid over, too.

I wish we had a guy named McNutt that would be an awesome jersey.

It would be rated as the worst Dallas draft... ever by many fans.

You'd expect that given they started out with an extra 2nd rounder and were just one pick behind us in the 1st.

To tell you the truth, though, I take our draft over theirs. But that's largely because our guys fit roles better on our team.

They skunk us every year in the draft, but what has it gotten them?

Dez Bryant, Receiver. A man who's season is over. Gentlemen, the Cowboy's staff can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's first super human receiver.
Dez Bryant will be that man. Better than he was before. Better.... Stronger..... Faster......

Yes the Eagles are leaps and bounds above us when it comes to drafting

Do yourself a favor and look up the past two years draft classes
"It's little bit like the description of pornography from years back. It's hard to define it. But you know what it is at the end of it. It's hard to define it. I think you know who is more physical. Often times you see that in the fourth quarter. A lot of time the team on the other side feels it. We pride ourselves on being a physical football team. It's important to us. It's an important time of the year to lay that foundation." - Coach Garrett

It could be a great draft, but there draft always looks great on paper. Forutinately it doesn't always turn out to be great.
