I thought #2 was Leslie Haynes because Debbie Bond walked out with the 14 cheerleaders. Bond had replaced Suzanne Mitchell who left because Schramm and Landry were gone. At least that's how I remember it. That was a while ago, though.

The question may be poorly worded but it asked for the name of the DCC director who resigned because of the biker shorts scandal. Debbie Bond is the DCC director who resigned. You are correct that Leslie Haynes replaced Bond.

McKinney North HS
Abilene Christian University
2008 outdoor national champion in the 400 meters

Cloud County is in Kansas so this was an easy one for me.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Well done; a couple of comments:

Gary Cartwright was a reporter for the Dallas Morning News when he came up with the name "Doomsday Defense" in 1964.

Green's "wardrobe malfunction" happened when he put his hip pads on backwards (so his tail bone pad wasn't covering his tail bone, if you get my meaning) the first time he suited up for the Cowboys. Oddly enough, although Green played only basketball in college, he did play football in high school so it's hard to understand why he didn't know how to wear his hip pads.

Jul 6 - Acquired: Allen Green from the Giants (1961); Signed: Thornton Chandler (1986), Mark Higgs (1988); Birthdays: Billy Davis (WR: 1995-98, b. 1972), Glynn Gregory (E-DB: 1961-62, b. 1939), Alvin Harper (WR: 1991-94, 1999; b. 1968); Deaths: Bob Ackles (2008)

Trivia: (1) Alvin Harper has the second longest TD reception in post-season history -- how many yards did the catch+run cover and who was the opponent? (2) Entering the regular season, how many free agents made the active roster in Billy Davis' rookie season?
